Year after year, Reece ‘Big Rig’ Howden cements his reputation as the brightest young talent in the sport. His 2020-2021 season proved to be one of the most dominant in the history of the sport: six podiums, four World Cup wins, Red Bull SuperSkicross gold, and the FIS Crystal Globe. He was also named Alpine Canada Athlete of the Year and FIS Rookie of the Year.

At the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games, Reece channeled his experience at the Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer, Norway in 2016 where he won the Ski Cross gold medal for Canada. Reece fought through adversity to land 9th overall in his first Olympic appearance. He finished the season with a bang when he won his second-straight Red Bull SuperSkicross gold medal.

Reece secured his second FIS Crystal Globe in 2023, followed by his third in 2025. Fuelled by his pursuit of perfection and aiming to leave his mark on the sport of ski cross, Reece secured his fourth FIS Crystal Globe after competing at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milano Cortina.
