Noah Bowman started up as the second alternate at X Games Aspen 2012. By the end of the tournament, the 19-year-old rookie had placed second thanks to a previously unheard-of alley-oop double flat spin 900.

Bowman kept up his impressive performance, taking fifth place at the 2014 Summer Olympics in Sochi and winning bronze at the 2017 X Games Aspen. Due to his consistency, he finished third overall in the 2017–18 FIS standings and fifth in PyeongChang 2018. Bowman established himself as one of the sport’s best athletes with a fourth-place performance at Beijing 2022, capping his career with podiums at the World Cups in China and Calgary and earning him the nickname “skier’s skier.”
