Brendan Gallagher grew up around the game of hockey, learning grit and discipline from his father, a strength coach with the WHL’s Vancouver Giants. Although he’s 5-foot-9, Brendan quickly stood out for his relentless energy and physical play on the ice, traits that helped him become the Giant’ all-time leader in goals and points during his junior career from 2008-2010.

Drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 2010 after his successful junior career, Brendan made his NHL debut in 2013 and finished second in Rookie of the Year voting. He has since become a cornerstone of the Canadiens franchise, known for his leadership and heart in the game of hockey. Named an alternate captain in 2015, he signed a six-year extension in 2020, continuing to wear the ‘A’ proudly for his team as a respected voice in the locker room and a fan favourite on the ice.
