Ernie Clement, from Rochester, New York has become a Toronto Blue Jays fan favourite since joining the club in 2023. Clement was a Gold Glove finalist in 2024 at third base, and in 2025, at both third base and as a utility player. In 2025, he delivered a historic postseason performance, collecting 30 hits during the Blue Jays Playoff run and setting a new MLB record for the most hits in a single postseason, while batting .411 with a 13-game hitting streak, one homer, nine RBIs and 13 runs scored in 18 games.
