Madison Kryger is a 17-year-old backstroke standout from Niagara Falls, Ontario. Madison is one of Canada’s fastest-rising young swimmers, having recently made a name for herself on the global stage. At the 2025 Bell Canadian Swimming Trials in Victoria, she captured gold in the 200-metre backstroke, earning her place on Team Canada for the 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Singapore. She continued her breakthrough season at the 2025 World Aquatics World Junior Swimming Championships, winning Canada’s first medal of the meet with a bronze in the women’s 100-metre backstroke. Madison will continue her academic and swimming career at the University of Tennessee while she proudly represents Canada on the world stage.
