Growing up in small-town Ontario, Easton Cowan was raised a Toronto Maple Leafs fan. His childhood dream became reality in 2023, when he was drafted in the first round by his hometown team. Easton led the London Knights to the OHL Championship title, scoring 34 goals and adding 62 assists in 54 games. Easton won the Red Tilson Trophy as the OHL’s Most Outstanding Player, while also taking the Wayne Gretzky 99 Award as the OHL Playoffs MVP.
He represented Team Canada at the U-20 World Juniors, where his steadfast determination kept the team in contention. Famous for not only his on-ice skill but his drive both on and off the ice, Easton enters his first NHL season primed to become Toronto’s next star player.
